Finally, Ray found some nice hardware in the Vivitar Creator Series. It’s a thumb drive that lets you go from HDMI to USB or USBC, and you can do screen capture from things like Xbox. Cool stuff. He got it at Walmart for $19.88.

Use the keyword set in the title twice, but make it natural. Name the mp4 title the keyword set and add the metadata to the file. With the description, repeat the keyword set, and then add the phone number and website. Include the Google Business Profile link and the citation. Include links to five – 5-star reviews from the GBP. Include the video copy and an about us and driving directions to the location. Use a thumbnail and get some backlinks. Today on Video Marketing Madness – YouTube Clips. Ray explains how to use this new feature and why.
You can grab 5 to 30 seconds from any video and make a clip out of it. Use the scissors icon underneath the video on the watch page. YouTube then creates a new URL for the clip, and it then has its own watch page. The full video is greyed out behind it. It’s a way to grab someone’s interest and entice them to watch the full video.

Short videos are typically 60 seconds and are vertical. Platforms include TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook and Instagram Reels. Ray does them all the time for his escape room business and they have helped drive traffic.

Ray uses it for networking. He’s friends with a restaurant owner and she goes live a few times per week. Ray watches, likes and comments, and she gives his escape room a shout out and that’s how they got to be friends. Ray also gives shout outs to businesses.
